Pellet Stove Vent Repair

Whoever initially installed this vent clearly didn't like the job, took no pride in their work AND ripped the customer off.

Here is the job I had to repair. He just slapped a piece of metal over the siding, caulked and screwed it then called it good....🤦‍♂️🤔

Here is the vent after I took it all apart and re-did it - properly installed and looks half way decent. It only took me a few hours to dismantle and fix this install.

I removed the siding necessary to fit the metal in, then cut the J-channel to fit, then caulked and sealed everything and reinstalled the vent the right way
