Here is the prologue to the Seasons Sense series I wrote. Each one is rather short and are supposed to tie in with each other.

Prologue

I lift you up with a thousand dreams as you shatter me with a single touch. Your whispers play across my eyes as my breath entrances your ears. This shattered nightmare plagues us as we rush into another dream.

As a wave of anger washes over me, forcing me down below the waters, rage forces me to rise again. Fear of losing myself to such hostility and sheer beauty as I struggle to discern which sets me a blaze. The inspiring violence or the decadent radiance that bolsters my hatred and flowers it into an incandescent purity I'd never knew.

You're afraid of fire. I embrace it. You're afraid of destruction. I cause it. You're afraid of hurting. I've never stopped.
